Use the 4 ft. strap and cover on a diamond plate storage box attached to the catwalk on our semi-truck. The cover keeps the lock clean and free from dirt, snow, ice. Better than a beer coozieI use Steelcore straps on motorcycle luggage.As you could imagine that means that the straps will be subjected to a lot of vibration. And that means the Steelcore strap buckles could vibrae a hole in my waterproof motorcycle luggage.So to prevent damage to my motorcycle luggage I bought several of these covers to prevent the buckles from rubbing holes into my waterproof luggage.The buckle covers are easier to use than a beer coozie to cover the buckles on the straps, and they stay in place.And they look a lot better on my luggage than a beer coozie, though not as versatile; but I only need one beer coozie.So that’s how I roll; three Steelcore buckle covers, and one beer coozie. Have a great day!
