The Steelcore 4.5 foot-long Theft Resistant Locking Security Straps are ideal for securing your assets including bikes, motorcycles, surfboards, guns, firearms,Gun coolers, sporting goods, tools, and many more.

Steelcore straps have a braided 7/19 galvanized steel cable at the center covered in a cut-resistant, heavyweight webbing made of a proprietary blend of steel and fibers. Our straps are also designed to minimize damage to any surface finish.

The straps have an aircraft-grade aluminum buckle assembly that is powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Our locks are custom made using a double-butted key and pick a resistant design. Includes 2 keys and complete instructions.

Steel core Security Strap Accessories include replacement Keys and Buckle covers.

You can purchase additional sets of Steelcore Security Straps that will match the keys that lock the Steelcore Security Straps that you already own. Just call or e-mail Steelcore with the number on your lock and the model that you want and we will arrange it.

    Nice lock, adds security, but a little hard to tension the strap

    I like and would recommend this strap to others. The biggest drawback to me is that the way the strap gets routed thru the buckle makes it hard to get as much tension on the strap as I would like for keeping things from bouncing around..

    When buying more than one..

    I bought two and in the back of my mind I was thinking it would be slick if these people sent the two keyed together. I wasn’t expecting it but shame on me they sent two keyed together. Very nice.

    So far so good

    I think the concept is brilliant. The only thing I personally think could be better is the way the strap end goes into the lock. If it was the same as an ordinary strap lock, where the end goes straight in rather than as it is now where the end must go under the buckle and out.

    Innovative idea and quite useful

    The strap is more flexible than I thought it would be. I use it to secure my soft bags on my motorcycle while I run into a store or eat in a restaurant. This surves as a deterrent to any opportunistic thieves and actually would really slow them down in any attempt to pilfer my bags. The cable is about 5 inches shy of the end of the strap so take that into account.

    Love these straps

    I’m using two straps to lock a double battery box and they work great. Fit into the slots on the cover. The locks work as advertised. They lock well-made.The company ships fast! Just placed an order for another strap and both orders were shipped the same day as they were placed.
